Hi there......interesting is the fact that JUST before Alfred & Alice get married, they are a witness
to a marriage in Whitchurch, and she is listed as Alice CLUBINE.........also, under ontario cemetery
listings, this couple is buried in Simcoe County, and she is listed as the wife of Alfred PITCHER.
................and the plot thickens ! ! !
regards,
Linda

Subject: [ONTARIO] Benjamin/John cook
Hello,
If anyone has access to the 1871 census, could I have some help in finding a John Cook in Simcoe Co. I know that the libraries have access, but I am writing from the states. John was my gg-grandfather. He was married to Margarette Fisher, a son Benjamin and there was an Alice (possible da or sister). Benjamin was born in 1860 so John and Margarette would have been born in the 1830's. John was Irish. Interested in his bithdate...parents...other children..anything!
Thank you so much for any help. I've been looking a long time.
David (Cook) Esis
