Hi ya' - my paternal grandmother was Bertha Marie Colliton (1879-1967) in
Richford, NY - her father was John Bernard Colliton (b. abt 1841 Smithville,
Ontario) and he married Ardasa Moore (b. abt 1849 in NY) - John Bernard's
dad was John Bernard "Barney" Colliton b. ??? allegedly from Smithville and
he married a local girl Margaret "Gigi" Cooper b. ????

So I'm trying to find the Barney and Gigi and get their births placed/
marriage ? in Smithville and perhaps their parents

Have photos of both but no additional information

Hello Bill,
It is sometimes easier to find a couple by following the records back from
details about a descendant. Is there a specific descendant of this couple
that you are trying to find?
