Hello Listers,

Life, errands, and yard work got in the way of my genealogy and computer and
left me with no time or energy to get back to this any sooner.

My direct and profound "thank you" to Joanna, Doreen, Dot, Ellen, Mary,
Lorine, Joyce, and Stella, who each sent information and ideas to help me
with this family. My apology to Lorine for including "off topic of Ontario"
information. I am properly chastized. <G>

I really appreciate the help I've already been given - including the name
of a lady in the province east of Ontario who researches the
Fountain/LaFountain family between there and Linday, Ontario. I am astounded
and so appreciative of the ideas I've been given. List Members!! Thank you
so very much!!!

I managed to get one thing done on this research! Last week I ordered a
death certificate for James Hill, brother to Louisa, and the lady shared
that the certificate says that James was born in NY,USA. So that's where
that piece of info came from. I'm inclined to believe the census records
I've been given and think James was born in Ontario. Now to find some church
records or something else and prove my theory.

I have lots of leads!!!! Thank you so very much.
