Did he come by himself at the age of either 14 or 15?

Listers: I'm trying to help distant relatives find a JAMES HARDWICK born
1890 in Littlebury, Essex to JOHN EDWARD HARDWICK and SARAH VENNER.

He came to Canada Apr.9, 1905 aboard the Bavarian, destination Birtle.

No sign of him after this. There is a James Hardwick family in Souris, MN,
but wrong family.

We have no idea which province he eventually went to. I've searched 1906,
1911, 1916 and 1910 US census without any luck. There are Hardwick's in NS
- wrong family

If anyone has a connection to this man or if anyone has any offers of help,
it would be most appreciated. Family would like to find a death for him.
