Hello, I have been searching for my Gareau family for quite a few years
and have a few missing pieces yet to fill in, one being the birth or
church record for Paul or Joseph Paul Gareau.

Many years ago someone wrote me with some information on this child born
in May of 1854 but not baptized til June 12th in St Luc church in
Curran. Try as I might I have not been able to find this record on
Ancestry. I have the date, but would like to see if I can find the
actual record.

His parents were Joseph Gareau, or possibly St Onge, his mother was
Louise Monette or Boismenu. This couple used both names at different
times for their 8 children.

If someone can set me in the right direction to find this record I would
be so appreciative.
