Hi Catherine,
You know that Edgar Alvin WHARRAM passed away in Chatham Ontario in
1942 - age 40.

Have you obtained the Registration of Death/Genealogical Registraiton
of Death/ Long form Death Registration - from Govt of Ontario - Vital
Statitics Dept ?

This will show all personal information required at the time -
including date of birth - if known to the informant.

Perhaps by chance - the family may have published an announcement of birth -
Have you researched names of hospitals in the area where Edgar was
born ? It may have been a home birth - as well - there may have been
small maternity /hospitals -
Records would have been kept if a physician/ nurse had been in charge.
perhaps the Provincial Archive may hold such records.

Is it possible? that Edgar Alvin WHARRAM - was not born a WHARRAM?

Do you know the names of the parents of Edgar Alvin WHARRAM? Were
there other siblings?
Perhaps searching via their names - would help.

In the Early 1940's we had the National Registration of All Canadians
over the age of 16 years.
This information is available for $40.15 - returned if information not found.
*since Edgar Alvin WHARRAM passed away in 1942 - his name may not appear.

Have you searched under spelling variation - Warram etc?
Errors are made on Census - etc.

Cheers & Good Luck, Stella
