The 1871 Census only shows Head of Household.



The 1881 Canada Census (www.familysearch.org) shows Benjamin F. Ewing married to "Hannah". Ontario death registrations show a Benjamin Franklin Ewing age 89 years and 3 months, died 23 April 1892.



The 1891 Canada Census shows a Benj Ewing, occupation - Insurance Agent, age 55, born in Ontario and living in Brighton, Northumberland,with his father B.F. Ewing age 88 and born in USA, and stepmother Hannah, age 83, also born in USA. All were of Presbyterian religion.

The 1851/52 Canada Census shows a Benjamin Ewing (AGE 76) and his wife Eunice (AGE 72) who were both born in USA and both Baptists, living in Haldimand Township of Northumberland and above that entry is one for a 4 year old named Benjamin, son of Milton Ewings (sic).
