1951, he must have remarried:

McKinnon, Daniel Robert - At Wellesley hospital, Wed Oct 24, 1951,
beloved husband of Jean Burns, dear father of John. Resting at F.
Lynetts funeral home, 3299 Dundas St West (near Gilmour). Funeral
Friday to St. Clare's Church for mass at 10AM. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Patrick, Father-in-law to Diane. Grandfather of Adam and Andrew. A
private family service was held on Tuesday, October 22, 1985. Interment
Holy Cross Cemetery. Frank Lynette Ltd. (undertakers) --Same
undertakers as Daniel Robert.

You could request the Librarian to look up, 3 years at a time, entries
in the Toronto City Directory for years beyond the dates that you have
for Daniel or Irene and for John. An arduous task but perhaps it will
