Hi Doreen,
Thank you for such a thorough search. They were Baptist - Queenston St.
Church - and as my research has proven the Baptist were not very good at
keeping records. As for the Census - since they married 1886-1888 it would
seem they would be in the 1891 if there was a census that year, but have
found nothing. Catherine died in 1892 Toronto. Robert married Margaret
Fluerette in Toronto 21 Aug. 1893, therefore reason for no records in Census
in that time-frame. I've research all kinds of websites for Ontario and
cannot find any records for them as well as LDS films. Guess it's time to
give up. LOL Many thanks. Joan By-the-way, Robert's father, John,
spelled the surname ROLLISON and I even checked records for that and
ROLLINSON.

Good Morning Joan:

I did a search of marriages under the surname Rawlinson in Lincoln county,
and then generally but did not see anyone with that surname who married a
McDonald. And while there were plenty of persons named Catherine McDonald
in the 1881 Canada Census - there was no Robert Dudley Rawlinson.

Also this couple do not appear on the 1901 or 1911 Canada Census - anywhere
in Canada.

I did not find any birth or death registrations either that would fit this
couple, nor any children born to Rawlinson/McDonald.

Perhaps they did not marry or remain in Canada.
