Recently I have been looking for someone by the name of Cochrane Hammond
who arrived around 1879/1880/1.
And I noticed on a few of the ships manifests that the majority of
passengers were children
and that they had been " Barnardoes children " from the UK.
the Ports that I was interested in were Liverpool / Londonderry and
Glasgow.
