Hello Jack
It is always unfortunate when things like this happen. But, surely it can't
change who we are.

At the moment I am looking for a Cochran/e Hammond and at present pouring
thru ships manifest.
Cochrane Hammond left Donegal Ireland after his 4th child was born in March
1880.
By April 1881 he was serving as a Policeman in Toronto. His name was Spelt
Cockrance Hammond and he was
living in a rooming house owned by people called Wilson.
I suspect he decided to disappear. He was still a young man at this time
having been born approx 1845.
Maybe he too married again.

Muriel
