Subject: [ONTARIO] probate film clarification
Date: Thu, 10 Apr 2008 12:58:57 EDT
I wrote yesterday's request about a probate film for Renfrew County while I
was at the FHC. I guess that is why all of the ? showed up as punctuation.
Anyway, The film number I gave was for a FHC film 813380 and not an archives
number. The film is for records 1893-95 but the film before it goes from
1891-1893. I am just hoping someone has a FHC with a library of Ontario films
and can look for me.
On the film which is of the register book of probate records there are three
columns. It is the second number that is supposed to correspond to which
film is ordered. There are no choices for 22-11 in 1893. Film is ordered only
on Thursday mornings at my center so I have another week to figure out if
this record is on the available films. It is for Elizabeth Frances Evans of
Copper Cliff ON. It is not her will as she was fully alive. I suspect that it
was something to do with the estate of her parents.
Can anyone help?
