I don't really know if this is the same man. It appears to be.
Albert Early married a Mary Jane Secord, marriage records for her last name
were Lipcord; and another translation was Licovel. On her death info her
parents were Stevenson Secord and Ruth Vandicar.
Rootsweb records give Mary Jane's parents as Stephen Alexander Secord and
Ruth Paine Rouse.
On the Rouse info I found that a George Rouse married a Anna Vandecar. And
Stephen Secord married a Ruth Rouse. Wonder if there was misinformation on
Ruth's last name in the death record. I am trying to verify if indeed that was
the case.
As for Stephen Alexander Secord death 24 Dec 1860, since it does not have a
location, it might of been in Illinois, US which would make the info that he
moved to Illinois about 1854 correct. There was a Ruth Secord on the 1860
census records in Illinois and then she must of moved back to Brant.
