Subject: [ONTARIO] Fw: Isabella Gregory (nee Alston)

Thank you to all who have helped with posts concerning my Great Aunt
Isabella Gregory and her husband, Arthur. There is a possibility that Arthur
first came to Canada as one of the 'Home Children'. I believe I have found
him listed as entering Quebec at the age of 13 in 1893 on the SS Sardinian
that sailed from Liverpool in the UK. If it is him he must have returned to
the UK at some point to meet and marry Isabella in 1914. This poses
questions as to whether he came back as part of the war effort, and whether
he joined the Canadian or British Army, and then returned to Canada with
Isabella.

Any thought or help with this would be most grateful.

Regards,
Robert Alston
