She crossed into the US on July 23, 1947 at Buffalo, NY, on the Michigan
Central Railroad train #80,. "enroute to England and return to Canada".
"Purpose and Intended Length of Stay in US; 1 day, In Transit"
So perhaps she was headed for NY City and sailed from there.
