Hi Bev:

Harry Kennedy may not have been living in any city near Kingston, but rather
working on a farm or in some other of the many smaller communities that
surround that area. He also may have been living across the water in NY
state. And as he does not appear in either the 1901 nor the 1911 Canada
Census, it is quite possible that he was in the USA and returned to Canada
in order to join the CEF. You might want to explore that possibility.

To see a current map of the area, go to Google and enter the words Kingston,
ON then click the "Map" tab. The arrow will point to the location but you an
X-out the bubble and increase the size so that you see all the surrounding
communities.
