The Border Crossing from Canada to the U.S is for 1895-1956
The Detroit Border Cross & Passenger & Crew List starts in 1905-1957
You just may be out of the time frame. The records do not include those born in the US just crossing the border or those moving to the US.
I can check the 1900 Detroit census records for you and see if I can find anything that might help you.

Hello, I,m having a problem trying to locate border crossing info and would appreciate any help anyone can provide.
Problem
My great grandmother Eliza Wells B@1854 married Benjamin Bartholomew (B 1846)
at Stouffville Apr 1875
My grandmother Clara Anita Bartholomew was born 3/19/1876 and my aunt Maude Evaline Bartholomew was B Aug 29 1882
Benjamin died 1896 but the marraige had collapased prior to that.
Eliza married a Robert Parker an attorney who practiced in Det and they had a son Wells Parker b 4 20/1894
Clara married Frank Bovee in 1893
Maude married the 2nd time to Frank Eckley b Eng 12/10/1871
Eliza came across to work in Det and I'm advised she brought the 2 girls. I would like to know if there are border records and if there is also records for Robert Parker and Frank Eckley.
I realize this is a lot but I have not been able to turn up this info
Thank you
Don in Mich
