Add to what Marg all ready gave you....

Charles Elmer Ridsdale (1943) states he worked for C.N. Railroad
He crossed to Niagara Falls, N.Y. on June 5, 1941. The record is very blurry, but I could read that he was using a Canadian passport and worked for the railroad. No details were given.
He again crossed to Niagara Falls on August 16, 1940. Again, it states he worked for the railroad.

Lawrence age 3 and Wilford Ernest age 5
Crossed in October (no date given) 1909. They was going to St. Albans, Vt.
There is also a seperate record for Ernest Ridsdale born abt 1875 in England going to the same place. It states that he is a widow. (resident Cornwall, Ontario). Could this be their father???

On September, 1906 there is a record of Ernest age 30 and Florence, his wife from Canada to Providence to visit brother-in-law George T. Clee

I looked up George T. Clee on the 1910 census and he was born abt 1883 in England. His wife was Isabella, age 33. They had a daughter named Florence M. age 5/12. They lived in Johnston, Providence, RI.

Marg has more details on Wilfred Ernest then my US records show (strange!) He is only listed the one time.

I didn't find a crossing in 1906 for any of them.
