Subject: [ONTARIO] Canadian Border Crossings to New York ports by wagontrains, 1876
Date: Thu, 5 Apr 2007 10:11:55 -0700
Hi,
Might anyone know where I can find information about Canadian border
crossings into New York ports by folks that traveled by wagon trains from
Canada between the years 1875 - 1880, in particular, Nov. 15, 1876? Might
there have been some ferries that might have been in service at that time
for such type travel to a New York port?
I have not been able to find my great Grandparents on any of the ships
listings I've searched. They were in the Napanee, Lennox County, Ontario
area June 14, 1869.
Any help or ideas of where to look would be greatly appreciated.
