Hi Marg,

OVS web site has a large number of 1933 death registrations (all of
Simcoe County) and we are currently working on 1934. As well, all of
1869 birth registrations for Simcoe County.

URL for the OVS website is below in my signature line

Hi Barb:

Birth registrations are only available to the public up to and including

1909 at your local LDS family history centre or up to and including 1907

on Ancestry.ca . In other words, the 1933 birth you are looking for
won't be available to the public for abt 14 more years as 1 more year of

records is released each Spring/Summer.

Full death registrations are only available up to and including 1934 at
your local LDS family history centre, and up to and including 1932
online at Ancestry. Another year released for public viewing each
Spring/Summer.

Follow the Pathfinder for births and deaths to see if you might qualify
to get the birth reg:

http://www.archives.gov.on.ca/english/interloan/vsmain.htm

and

http://www.cbs.gov.on.ca/mcbs/english/births&marriages.htm

If you do manage to get a death reg for him, it likely won't tell you
anything abt cause of death, etc and you might have to have a full date
of death before you can get it. Read at the above 2 sites and that will

likely be explained to you.

If there was a local newspaper, perhaps there would have been an article

or obit about his death.
