Hi Wayne.

Not sure about what 'devastating news' you are referring to. There have
been some comments about the possibility of a non-confidence vote that
would force an election, if that is what you are referring to.

Should that happen, it would truly be devastating to us if it occurred
before Bill S-18 could finish going through the process and become law
first. I have my fingers (and everything else I can think of) crossed.

It has been a long haul, and my life has been consumed with the Census
issue for so long now, that I just want to see it over and done with so
that I can finally get back to doing my own things.

Peter McKay, on TV last night said words to the effect that the
Conservatives will not force an election this coming week, but that does
not mean it still won't happen before S-18 is passed. At the moment,
time is our biggest concern.
