I was nearby the Ontario Archives today and went in to get the following
copy of the death registration you are interested in for Ann Bennett.
I'm curious about the numerous other Bennetts you say died in 1876 for
which you could locate no registrations. I noted that there was a John
Bennett died 8/12/1876 (Reg # 11503-76). Have you determined that this is
another individual? Or was this person perhaps overlooked? In total I
noticed what seemed to be 12 to 15 Bennett's whose deaths in Ontario were
registered in 1876.

Subject: [ONT] death reg look up
I just found a related family, John D. Bennett's, who all but one daughter
died within a week of each other. I checked my death index reel at my
History Center and none were register. I guess no one thought to register
deaths. I am assuming it was an illness in early 1876 that took them.
What I did find is another death reg and I would appreciate if anyone is
view films if you could look up Ann Bennett, Vaughan Twp, DOD 1/11/1879 reg
#018541, it would be appreciated.
I am still helping the author of the book on the McQuarrie's of Ontario.
The book is in proof form. As with any genealogical search, as soon as
something is printed there are more finds. None of it is on my branch but
McQuarrie's and others were very early settlers in Vaughan and surrounding
others. If you have even one McQuarrie on your tree we would like to
make a connection.
