I came across this original 4 page newspaper and thought the info might be
of interest to others. From the Haldimand Advocate March 2, 1899, page 2,
column 5:

BORN
In Cayuga, on the 23rd February, the wife of ANDREW T. THOMPSON, Barrister,
of a daughter.

MARRIED
At the residence of Mr.J.R. Sutor, South Cayuga, on the 22nd ult., by the
Rev. S.W. Fallis, York, MR. ANDREW MURRAY, of Oneida, to MISS M.E. SUTOR, of
South Cayuga.

DIED
In Cayuga, on the 25th ult., CLARENCE ROY, youngest son of MR. FRANCIS
GARVEY, aged 1 year and 10 months.

In Hagersville, on the 20th February, MRS. DANIEL TRIMMER, in the 80th year
of her age.

I am not related to any of these individuals, and have no roots in
Haldimand, but I will continue to post interesting bits from the community
columns as time allows.

be interested.
