Hi all
I have had several interesting and useful replies to my question.
Thank you.
However today I was talking to my Mother who is 87 years old and she tells me
that Eileen married another policeman in Toronto and they had at least 2 boys .
So I do not know her married name.
It is possible now that she may have left the police force before her death.
Mother still believes that she was murdered or killed in some odd circumstances
in Toronto.
Further info is that she was a well 'built girl' and pretty and an
excellent swimmer.
I am going to check the local paper here in England for obit etc.
