Pat,
In addition to Kim's suggestion, you could also try the Eglinton chapel of
McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, 1812 Eglinton Avenue West (at Dufferin
St.) (416) 782-1197.

1162 Eglinton Ave. West is now a nail salon and looks a little small to have
been a funeral home in a prior life. It is not completely unheard of for
street numbers to change, or perhaps for there to have been a typo in the
first place.

McDougall & Brown advertises in the yellow pages as having been in business
for over 60 years - perhaps a merger with Brown Bros?
