In Hamilton (Wentworth County), on 9 Feb 1881 at 11:05 p.m., Francis
Simmons, bar keeper was allegedly beaten up by Alfred Smith, James
McDonald, Robert Mines (also written as Mynes), Thomas Forester, George
Nicholson & John Dryden.

I have the depostions/testimony (I am not sure of the correct term) from
the court case that resulted.
Charles Woodward, porter, gave evidence as did Algernon Woolverton, physician.

If anyone is related to these people, and wants a copy, please let me
know. There are 8 pages, legal sized. It's going to cost me $3 to get
this to you, so please take that into consideration.

Mary
