Hello again,
No prizes for guessing that I have been blown away today with
all the great news from such wonderful, helpful listers. Many, many thanks.
Of course you have also opened up some 'cans of worms', but I know so much
now. Which uncle married Margaret first, (Charles Eli), when he died, when
and where the other brother,Walter, married Margaret. Walter and Margaret
were my husband's g/parents. So it is really close rellies that you have
helped me with. And when young Walter G was born!! Now, how lucky can
someone be.
I thought I'd send on to you all that I know, perhaps someone
else might be interested also, or can add some more to this family. When I
get my head around all the info., then the questions will be asked, it's all
too much to take in in one hit.
I will reply to you all individually as soon as I can, Wish I
could reciprocate, any help I can give with things Australian, please ask.

About Hannah CRAWFORD.

Caution! I'm fairly sure that, despite what Margaret's marriage record
states, Hannah was Margaret's stepmother.

William Calverley had numerous children (at least 13) prior to his
marriage to Hannah. He married Hannah Crawford on 3 May 1873, at
Yorkville, Ont. The registration number for that marriage is #013562-73
(Toronto). The mother of his earlier children was probably Frances ___.

Oh his marriage record (5 Jan 1875, at Orillia), her son Nathan gave his
mother's forename as Fanny. That marriage is recorded on m/film
#MS-932, Reel 18, pg. 379.
I've not yet discovered what her surname was.
