SPOONER Agnes
passed away at her home in Collingwood on Sunday, August 10 2003 at the age of 88. Agnes (McCutcheon) Spooner dear mother of Margaret Mae Rose and her husband Chris of Quadra Island, B.C. and the late William Spooner and his wife Sis of Collingwood. Loving grandmother of Cheryl Starret and Carol Spooner both of Collingwood, Nicholas Rose and Karina Rose both of Quadra Island, B.C. and great grandmother of Jack, Ellen, Max, Seth and Sabrina.
Pedeceased by her sisters Isobel Currie, Phyllis story, Jean Stephenson and her brothers Ken, John, and Jim.
Funeral services will be held at the Chatterson-Long Funeral Home Collingwood on Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 1:30 a.m. Interment Trinity United Cemetery. Donations to the Rebeka Lodge #128 would be appreciated.
WHITE Marie Theresa
passed away on Friday, August 1 2003 at the Collingwood Genernal and Marine Hospital in her 88th year. Marie, loving wife of the late Walter White, beloved mother of Walter White and his wife Donna, Laura Pardy, Joan and her husband Brian Newman, daighter-in law Barb and her husband Ken Astill, and the late Paul White. Cherished by her grandchildren Susan, Jeff, Terri, Mike and Christy, Wally, Kelly, Corina, and the late Sandy, and by great grandchildren Paige, Tabitha, Hope, Mitchell, Jordan, Jaime, Michael, Alyssa, Heleigh. Visition took place on Sunday, 3, 2003 at Fawcett Funeral Homes, Collingwood Chapel, 82 Pine Street. A funeral service tooll place on Monday, August 4, 2003 at First Baptist Church, 160 pine Street, Collingwood at 3:00 p.m. Interment First Presbyterian Cemetery. Donations in Mrs. White's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
DUNGLINSON, John Howard
It is with great sadness that his family announce the sudden death after a short illness of John Howard Dunglinson, age 74 at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, Aug. 3, 2003. Beloved Husband of Rose (nee Hart), loving father of Stephen and Laurie, father-in-law of Michele and Todd, devoted grandfather of Erin, Neil, Lindsay and Stephen. Survived by one Brother, Frank, of Charlisle, England, brother-in-law to Mavis Davison, Babs Dunglinson and James and Jane Hart, He will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.
Howard Dunglinson was a retired employee of Lucas Industries of Canada. He also served with the RAF and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #63. He was a member of the Wasaga Beach Men's Probus Club. A memorial service, preceded by cremation, will be held Thursday, Aug. 14, 2 p.m. at Prince of Peace Anglican Church, 363 Mosley St., Wasaga Beach. Donations may be made to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital or the Prince of Peace Anglican Church in Wasaga Beach. Arrangements entrusted to the Watts Funeral Home.
MCMULLEN, Marion
peacefully at the home of her granddaughter Terri McLellan with her family by her side on Griday, August 8, 2003. Marion McMullen of Mt. Brydges and formerly of Woodstock in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert John (Jack) McMullen (1971). Dear mother of Doug and Christy of Port Burwell, Mick and Vivian of Sweaburg. Loved nan of Randy and Laura, Terri and Mike, Brian and Yvonne, Brent and Brenda, Dustin, Robert and Dawn, Barb and Shawn also 12 Great Grandchildren and two greatgreat grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Gibson of Alliston. Best friend of Lila McMullen, Predeceased by her Parents Thomas and Francis Malcolm, grandson Gary and brothers Donald and Charles, The funeral service was held in the chapel of the M.D. Smith Funeral Home 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society or Ontario Heart and Stoke Foundation. !
