Looking for information on FLORENCE LESLIE, b. in Arkell, Ontario, Canada
(according to Obit 1974). I have conflicting birth dates, 1882 or 1884, in April.
The obit said she had a niece, Margaret Leslie, in Burlington , Ontario, and
another niece Kathleen Hill of Toronto.

FLORENCE moved to Va. and became a nurse. In 1910 she was 27, and single. She
eventually m. a Doctor and remained in Portsmouth, VA. all her life.
Apparently no children

Anyone researching LESLIE in Ontario? I am hoping to find that Florence's
father was brother to my gr.grandmother, CHARLOTTE LESLIE, b. in Nova Scotia. The
brother was THOMAS ALLEN LESLIE, b. July 6, 1860.

Did Ontario keep birth certificates in 1880?
