In some cases they may not have been registered at birth. My grandmother
was born in 1886 but was not registered till 1950's when they were trying
to get a birth certificate to get her pension.
Her sisters were born in 1889 & 1894 but both were registered in 1894.
The lived in Laxton Twp, Victoria co and the best I can come up with is
that the registrar may have only come that way a few time a year and
maybe they did the registrations then.
