Hello, Pat,
Some things that come to mind ... check the local newspapers for articles
re the disappearance, discovery of the body, obituary, etc. Try city
directories and telephone books from his place of residence. Search The
Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid - the site is http://www.islandnet.com/ocfa/ .
Other sources of information could be coroner's records. Look for the death
registration and work back from there to census, marriage, and other
records.
