Hi Gary - Interesting stuff, isn't it? I have found a lot of valuable info
on The Globe site, although my ancestors arrival from Ireland in mid 1800's
seems to have been missed, but that's ok - I got many others and opened a
few closet doors as well.
But apart from the family research, I have really enjoyed reading articles
of events taking place at the time; even reading the ads for Castoria,
Cuticura, Dodd's Kidney Pills, Eaton's, Simpsons etc. and the fashions that
were illustrated have been akin to a trip in a time capsule. Just
marvellous! Top bad this site was available for such a short time.
Regards - and thanks for the copyright info.
Doreen
