BIRTHS:
At Gravenhurst, on the 20th ult., the wife of Mr. James Anderson, of a
daughter.

At Green's Bay, on April 21st, the wife of Mr. James Green, of a daughter.

At Coldwater, on the 28th ult., the wife of Mr. Joseph Brown, of a daughter.

At Coldwater, on the 28th ult., the wife of Mr. Peter Wallace, of a daughter.

At Orillia, on the 28th April, 1883, the wife of Mr. Jas. Kenny, of a
daughter.

On Saturday forenoon, 28th April, at Penetanguishene, the wife of Thomas
McCrossen, of twins (boys).

At Orillia, April 30, the wife of Mr. Wm. Tresidder, of a son.

MARRIAGES:

DEATHS:
At Innisfil, on Monday, April 23rd, Thos. Lougheed, born August 15th, 1799,
in the County of Donegal, Ireland, aged 83 years, 8 months, and 8 days.
Mr. Lougheed came to this country and settled in Innisfil forty-two years
ago. He died at the old homestead, where he had lived for forty years.
His remains were followed to the cemetery by a large number of friends and
neighbours. Mr. Wm. Lougheed, of Orillia, is the youngest son of deceased.

In Winnipeg, on the 25th of April, Henreitta Shrapnel, infant daughter of
Wm. Barter, aged 7 months.

In South Orillia, on the 26th ult., Terence Joseph, son of John Hughes,
aged 2 years and 14 days.

At Barrie, on the 29th ult., Thos. Drury, Esq., aged 80 years.
