Good Morning List (at least it's morning where I am)
It seems that two of the names I posted yesterday helped April in BC, and I
am hoping that these will help someone also.
April 20, 1883, Orillia Packet and Times
BIRTHS:
At West Gravenhurst, on the 7th inst., the wife of Mr. Wm. McDivoth, of a
daughter.
At Gravenhurst, on the 8th inst., the wife of Mr. D. McKay, of a daughter.
At Gravenhurst, on the 9th inst., the wife of Mr. D. Bethune, of a son.
On Monday, April 16, the wife of Col. B. Tyrwhitt, M.P., Farmcott,
Bradford, of a daughter.
At Lindsay, on the 17th April, the wife of Walter Darling, agent of
Dominion Bank, of a daughter.
MARRIAGES:
On Tuesday, April 10th, 1883, at the residence of the bride's father,
Toronto, Mr. J. H. Harvey, of the town of Orillia, nephew of the late Major
Harvey, R.A. of Bargy Castle, Wexford, Ireland, to Miss Ethel Maud, only
daughter of Major Hume, of the city of Toronto.
DEATHS:
At Orillia, on the 12th inst., Mary Adellia, youngest daughter of Mrs.
Matilda Good, of Bracebridge.
At Mitchell Square, on Saturday, 14th inst., Margaret Mitchell, aged 82
years, 6 months, and 4 days.
At the residence of D.L. Sanson, Orillia, on Tuesday, the 17th inst., Anne
Sinclair, reli?t (looks like a 'c') of the late Duncan Sinclair, Esq., aged
89 years.
In Oro, on the 18th inst., Mr. Robert Muir, aged 76 years. Mr. Muir was a
native of Glasgow, and came to this country in 1831. His remains will be
interred at the Guthrie Church today.
