If I could get all U.S. subscribers to this list to send me a
$100 U.S. cheque (Cdn) / check (American)
I will do a test on how much trouble I have cashing them. I will send a report back
to the
list via satelite as I will be on my yacht sailing in the Caribean. <vbg> Any
takers?

I have cashed U.S. cheques with no problems BUT in my bank. A stranger walking into
a bank
with a cheque from anyone / anywhere would likely have problems but that also
happens in
the U.S. If they know you they'll cash it & you don't need a U.S. account.
