I am a subscriber to Ancestry.com and have never had a problem with them at
all. I usually take the quarterly when I want it and cancell when I am done
with it. Never have been over charged and in fact just a week after I
resubscribed for a three month I was called and asked if I would be
intereted in getting a memberhip. I told them I had subscribed two days
before. They thanked me and hung up. They have alsways reminded me when I
was up for renewal but never charged without my permission.

Every one when signing onto any pay per view should always be alert to their
credit card and or ATM card being charged. I once ordered printer ink from
a TV add and I was taken by surprise when my bank called and said I was over
drawn I went imediately to my bank and was shown the charges. Well there
had been a charge of 150.00 to my account and when I said I hadn't charged
it they called the company and believe me they were set straight very
quickly and they also had to pay all of the over drawn fees also. When they
sid it would take ninety days I told them it didn't take them ninety days to
charge my account. I said you have 30 seconds to remove that charge and
notify my bank that all charges were removed and overdrawn fees paid or my
next call would be to the States Attorney General's fraud division. It
worked and you know I never did get the ink nor was charged for that either.
