Hi Diane.

I had the pleasure of revisiting McDonald's Corners and some relatives
there while on my trip to Ottawa a few weeks ago. McDonald's Corners is
northwest of Perth. Go north on highway 511 to Lanark, then west on
highway 12. It is a small place but is shown on Ontario's Official road
map. Nearby Watson's Corners is not.

My grandmother was born in 1880, a little further north at Flower
Station -- another small place still shown on the map. Happy Hunting.

Two children in the 1890's were sent from the Marchmont Home in
Belleville
to live at MacDonalds Corners. Does anybody know where this might be?
I
could not find anything on the Ontario locater.

Belleville, ON
