Is this a record, or what? Eleanor's apparent claim to fame was that she apparently outlived 5 husbands. With some recent help I am slowly uncovering some of these gentlemen:-

Unknown KIRPATRICK, Joseph PETERS, Thomas MCCANN

On the McCANN marriage entry Eleanor states that her parents are James and Mary PETERS. This must mean that with one of the marriages she once again became a PETERS. Hopefully, I will be able to find the KIRPATRICK and PETERS entries and get confirmation.

A few weeks ago I was given the information regarding a Fenelon Falls, Ontario marriage between Eleanor KIRPATRICK, widow and Joseph PETERS in August, 1856.

Yesterday, at the Ontario Archives, I uncovered another marriage. This was a name that I had been told about, but the person giving the information was not 100% sure. This information was from a great aunt of mine who I met for the first time 2 years ago. She had at one time had all 5 names but had lost the list!

Rev. Johnston MCCORMACK

Unfortunately, the IGI for Ireland does not include any records for Eleanor or her parents. Those for Thomas MCCANN are there showing him christened April 9, 1814 Drumcree.
