Hello Michelle
You are so wonderful to offer loookups.
I am searching for 2 sides of the family up in Canada and both are in
Hastings.
1. Eliza Corbett born County Down 1826. She came over to Finch Township
with parents (don't have their names) and unkown if any others.
Aprroximately potato famine time line. She married approx April 1844 in
Finch Township Sormont Couty to a James Boyle who was born in County
Antrim 1812. He probably came about same time. Have no idea if he came
with family or alone.
I need to know if they are on this naturalization index and whether it
tells the names of the people that came over with them, ship name and
date etc.
2. I have James and Eliza in Bellevile Hastings County having a daughter
about 1861, don't know full date, or middle name-Margaret Boyle.
Margaret grows up to marry a Daniel McCann, in Belleville on December
14, 1886.Daniel was supposed to have been 23 at this time, which makes
him born about 1863. Born in Stirling to a John and Sarah McCann.
I need to know if John and Sarah, Daniel & Maggie are in the Hastings
Papers, and what they may say. Daniel and Maggie had a baby boy named
Gerald Blake McCann born Dec 3 1894 in Belleville. In the Bellevillle
cemetery there is listed a
D. M. McCann and I was told this is a possible child of Daniel and
Maggie's, who died Aug 9, 1897.
After Maggies death in Aug 24 1898 I have no record of Daniel or Gerald
till Gerald serves WW1 1914-1918, 13th Canadian Infantry. Then Gerald
shows up in Indiana USA 1925.
I thank you for any info you might be able to give me.
