Thos. G. RIDOUT. Mr. T.G. Ridout was the cashier of the Bank of Upper
Canada, and Mary Ridout was his sister.

Georgiana JACKSON. Mr. John Mills Jackson gave his name to Jackson's
Point, on Lake Simcoe, where he had considerable property.

Mary Ann SWAN, both of York. Witnesses, John BIRD and Jane BIRD.

12 April, 1821, by special license, Simon WASHBURN, Esq., bachelor, and
Margaret FITZGIBBON, spinster, both of this township. Witnesses, W.
BALDWIN, A.M. BALDWIN and Robert ADDISON. Mrs. Washburn was sister to
Lieut.-Col. FITZGIBBON. Her husband was a resident on the northwest
corner of George and Duke streets. He died about 1837, and is buried in
St. James' churchyard.

well-known politician and soldier, long famous in Canadian public life

and W. GAMBLE. The bridegroom was the well-known Dr. MACAULAY, his
bride being a daughter of Dr. GAMBLE, formerly of the Queen's Rangers.
The witnesses were William Allan, of Moss Park, and Wm. Gamble, the
eldest brother of the bride. The latter sat for many years in the
Provincial Parliament.
