Canadian Military Records for WWI and later can be had from

Personnel Records Unit
National Archives of Canada
395 Wellington Street
Ottawa ON
Canada K1A 0N3

There is full public access to WWI records and limited access to later
records ... either the person themselves or a request with proof of death
over 20 years ago will be given access to records after WWI.
