This is my first submission, so if anyone has any
suggestions, or hints, please feel free to let me know.

I am trying to locte the ancestors and descendents of the
following EVANS families who appeared on the 1861 Census for
Usborne Twp, Huron County, Ontario, Canada.
A) Richard Evans - Born in England- age 32
wife - Jane - Born in England- age 29

child-John - Born in Canada- age 8
" -Eunise - Born in Canada- age 6
" -Richard- Born in Canada- age 4
" -Mary A.- Born in Canada- age 2
" -George- Born in Canada- age 1

B) John Evans - Born in England- age 30
wife - Elizabeth- Born in England- age 5
child- Hannah- Born in Canada- age 13
" - William- Born in Canada- age 11
" - Isaac - Born in Canada- age 8
" - Evan - Born in Canada- age 6
** " - John T- Born in Canada- age 4
" - Elizabeth- Born in Canada- age 2
" - Joseph- Born inCanada- age 1

** John Thomas Evans is our g-g-grandfather. He was born in
Usborne, Huron, Ontario, in 1857. We do know that in 1876
John Thomas Evans was naturalized in the state of Wisconsin
as 'John Rutherford Evans'. John Thomas (Rutherford) Evans
was married abt 1880 in Mendocino County, California. In
1886 he had a son, John Sherman,who was born in North
Dakota. John T.(R) Evans remained in California until his
death in 1950.

I have a few theories regarding the families of May, Dew and
Rutherford.

If anyone else is researching these families, or are related
to any of them, I would love to hear from you and share
information.
