Hi Dinnie,

You can't get there from here :-) No really it depends on where you
are going. To go to Pembroke with no stop offs I go up Hwy 41 which
starts at Napanee because I am just west of Kingston. I make the turn
to go through Eganville to Pembroke which is a 2 1/2 to 3 hr trip. If
I want to do research at the Renfrew Archives I stay on #41 to the
Eganville turnoff but keep right to go #132 to Renfrew. Once in
Renfrew I can go a short distance to Hwy 17 then go north to Pembroke
or south towards Arnprior and Ottawa. If you just want Ottawa then go
the 401 to #16 and north which is 2 to 2 1/2 hrs depending on
construction. If you want a pleasant drive Hwy 38 to # 7 and across
is good but will take you over 3 hrs to Ottawa. Of course the reverse
works as well :-)
