Dear Pat, i have no argument with the rest of your letter neither
for or against, what one has to do one has to do!
But what you call "the bone of contention" is exactly the opposite
of what you are implying, I am all for the giving of information,
and I encourage those volunteers all the time to come forward and
help. My bone of contention is with those who are constantly trying
to fill their charts with worthless unsubstantiated material, not
trying to verify what they get, and when you tell them where the
information can be obtained, getting obnoxious and belligerent.
If someone was kind enough to tell you where you can find what
you are looking for, then go and find it there yourself, don't take
anybody's word for it.
That is my bone of contention, information given without sources is
no information at all. Therefore I have tried to get that point across.
And that is it, John
