Having discussed Roll-Calls and Surname listings today, and having
remebered that only a few days ago, I posted several Surname =- and
Roll-Call lists available at Rootsweb, while writing my last posting
titled "The Trail of the Black Walnut", I got that silly idea to try
one of those lists. I can tell you a funny thing happened on the way
to the Forum. My last posting had as a tagline the the address of
our Rootsweb archives, I clicked on and entered the
list name Surnames when it came on, I entered the name of the
Hessian soldier who I just had mentioned 'Scratch' and you know
what, I got 2 postings indicating "Scratch". Hurrah. but eh, when
I clicked on, what do I get? A long posting about some other names,
and then came this sentence = "although I can scratch up a variety ...
Eh, it worked, but it left me scratching my head, I am still laughing.
Cheers, John
