John Allen McDonald

I am researching McDonalds, Duncans, Kennedys, Brittans. Dowswells in
Lambton County
Duncans, Castells, Stinchcombs, and Smiths in Frontenac County,
Cliffords in Algoma, and Duncans in Hamilton, Burlington Area.
In Addition, I am researching McDonalds, Duncans, Wrights, Todds,
Ingrams
and Humes in Peebles and Midlothian, Scotland.

If any of these sound faniliar, please let me know.

Hi Carolyn:

I was born and raised in Sarnia, Lambton, Ontario and spent the first
thirty years of my life there. I was in every town in Lambton and down
every road in the county during that time and I can assure you there was
no "Dakota" in Lambton County. I am now from Ottawa, Ontario, having
lived another thirty years here. I can only guess that you "Dakota" was
a "place holder" name inserted in the place of his real "unknown" name
because he had moved to Dakota in the States and that was the easiest
way to remember him.
