Thank you both, Valerie, and Valorie, for your comments in regards
to dowsing and water witching, to find water in early Ontario.

I mean, I have heard about this before, its done in the old country
as well, but I am a real sceptic as far as the success rate goes.
Even today they have to drill at several locations before they find
water. I always thought it was a kind of a "bewitched" affair. ;)
Well, thanks for your input, I did not know they had those guys
around then already. Got some more stories? John
