Looking for Roger O'Carroll whose son William Carroll was born 1817 and
Christened in Templemore/Clonmore TIPP IRE.

Roger O'Carrolls wife was Mary Meahan

When William came to Ontario-Stratford and that area Roger may have come
with him and William's father in law James Tracey who was also from the
Templemore area.

James Tracey was married to Judy Ryan.

Their daughter Elizabeth Tracey was married to William Carroll approx.
14 Feb. 1845 in Templemore. William was a surveyor for the English
Govt. He may have come back to Ireland to marry Elizabeth since he was
there in 1837.

William had 5 children. Mary b 14 Apr 1845 ( yes I know that's not much
time to get married and travel to Canada but those are the facts).

#2- James 15 Aug. 1847 IN Goderich, ON CAN
#3-Catherione was born in Stratford in 15 Jul. 1850.
#4-Michael was born 15 APr 1853 in Hamilton
#5-Jeremiah-my GGrandfather was born in Hamilton in
1857.

They then left by train to Chicago IL where land was too
expensive and then landed in Leavenworth Co. KS in Stranger TWP. They
bought 160 acres near Stranger creek and farmed that area.
The oldest child Mary Carroll married Daniel Edward
Kennedy who worked with William Carroll selling goods to the ARmy at Ft
Leavenworth.
Daniel Carroll was also said to drive the stage coach
for the Wild Bill Hickock show in the west and midwest. ( ANy one out
there with any info on that show?).
I am looking for churches in the Clonmore area and
Templemore Area.
I am also looking for the exact date of birth for Jeremiah
Carroll and any info on Roger O'Carroll and his wife Mary.
