I could sure use some help. I am looking for information on CHARLES W COTTON who married RACHEL ROBERTS in 1842 in Matilda. Charles was born in New Jersey, USA and somehow ended up in Iroquois. Rachel was from Canada. They had 3 children while still living in Iroquois then in 1851 they moved to Ohio finally settling in Wisconsin in 1855.
Charles returned to Canada in abt. 1875 after Rachel died several years before he returned. I know that he lived in Mountain during that time and returned to Wisconsin abt 1881. I am frantically trying to find Charles' parents. Information that I have states his parents were Edward and Elizabeth but I am not sure if this info is correct.

I would appreciate any info and would be glad to share what I have.
