HI all!
This conversation has been interesting to me, because I have a grandfather
(b. 1919, of mysterious lineage) who was named John George Petrie, but often
in newspaper articles and sometimes in censuses he's referred to as DeForest
Petrie. I have been mystified by this...but now I'm thinking that I may
have a possible explanation.
That's why I love reading other peoples interesting questions and answers!
